Lynne grew up in the “gold rush” country of the Sierra Mountain foothills in California. She graduated from California State University Chico with her BSN in Nursing, and has been working as a nurse for 36 years in many various medical arenas.
During 15 years working in hospitals, she gained nursing experience in the ICU, CCU, Burn Unit, Recovery Room (PACU), and the Operating Room. She was the Nursing Coordinator for 15 years at a large Christian camping ministry in California, and enjoyed working for 5 years as a Home Health Nurse.
More recently, Lynne has enjoyed and found fulfillment volunteering with short-term Medical missions to Kurdistan northern Iraq, Israel, the Marshall Islands, and to Cambodia.
Lynne’s husband of 23+ years died of cancer in 2009, and her 2 young adult children continue to live in northern California.
