Kellie Acosta - PA-C

Thank you for trusting me with your health as well as your family's. I am thrilled to collaborate with these outstanding providers at AKUC in serving our Kona community.

I was trained at Yale Medical School’s Physician Associate Program, and have since worked in Emergency Care, Acute Care, and Pediatrics. As an acute care provider, I aim to give excellent care during some of the most vulnerable times of one’s healthcare experience. In pediatric medicine, I love supporting parents to help raise healthy and whole young men and women.

Being raised in the military let me experience cultures across the country and abroad. After completing my BS and MS in Cell Biology from Cal Poly University, I worked in biomedical research. At that time I met my husband, Jesse, who grew up in Maui and California. We decided to move to North Kohala here on the Big Island to raise a family. This beautiful place has been home ever since. We left the island to complete my medical training and are excited to finally be back! Jesse and our three boys love surfing, diving and fishing. I try my best at the ocean sports with my boys, but also love hiking, backpacking and mountain biking!
