Integrative Behavioral Health & Counseling Therapy

We are excited to announce the launch of our Integrative Behavioral Health Services, opening Winter 2025 (Nov/Dec). This new service line extends our commitment to whole-person, faith-based care by providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health support that works hand-in-hand with our medical and wellness services.

Our Integrative Behavioral Health team offers counseling for individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, and relationship stress. Grounded in a holistic approach, our therapists' partner with patients and medical professionals to restore balance and foster lasting emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Integrative Behavioral Health Program Manager /  Therapist 

 Raised in West Hawai‘i, Mona brings deep local roots and a lifelong passion for serving her community. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, she has over 24 years of experience in behavioral health, working with children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and substance use concerns.

With 16 years in program leadership, Mona has managed teams, developed behavioral health programs, and strengthened access to care for underserved populations across the island. She currently serves on the Hawai‘i Island Psychological Association Advisory Council.

Mona is dedicated to advancing the mission of whole-person, faith-based care through the launch of the Integrative Behavioral Health program.

Substance Use Disorder Services Program Manager / Therapist

Wilson is a multi-licensed mental health clinician with over 18 years of experience in dual diagnosis, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. He has served in leadership roles in nonprofit behavioral health, clinical supervision, and higher education, and is experienced in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for diverse and underserved populations.

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, Wilson also brings a decade of corporate experience from the Bay Area tech industry, along with work as an adjunct professor and a certified HeartSync trauma-healing minister.

He is joining the team as the SUDS Program Manager and one of our licensed therapists, passionate about providing intentional integrative behavioral health services to the Big Island community.
